INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK / MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP ALL OF YOUR DATA
If you're upgrading from .151 (which is easiest)
- Install .151 from Here to your PC only, not your phone (Skip this step if you already have it)
- Run the Hybrid Installer and Click Install
- Shrink Your Os [If you do, it will delete Vendor.xml for you]
- Update your Phone using Loader.exe (Click Launch Loader.exe in Shrink-A-OS or go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader)
If you're upgrading from .148
- Install .148 leak From Here to your PC only, not your phone (Skip this step if you already have it)
- Run the Hybrid Installer and Click Install
- Shrink Your Os [If you do, it will delete Vendor.xml for you]
- Update your Phone using Loader.exe (Click Launch Loader.exe in Shrink-A-OS or go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader)
9500 Users: Upgrade from .151 (which is easiest)
- Install .151 leak from Here to your PC only, not your phone. (Skip this step if you already have it)
- Run the Hybrid Installer and Click Install
- Shrink Your Os [If you do, it will delete Vendor.xml for you]
- Update your Phone using Loader.exe (Click Launch Loader.exe in Shrink-A-OS or go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader)
If you're upgrading from a previous 5.0/151 Hybrid
- Run the Hybrid Installer and Change the folder to .151 or whatever you changed it to in your original installation, otherwise LEAVE IT!)
- Click Install
- Shrink Your Os [If you do, it will delete Vendor.xml for you]
- Update your Phone using Loader.exe (Click Launch Loader.exe in Shrink-A-OS or go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader)
If you're upgrading from .132
- Install .132 leak to your PC only, not your phone. (Skip this step if you already have it)
- Run the Installer and change: 9530-v4.7.0.151_P4.0.0.186 to 9530-v4.7.0.132_P4.0.0.162
- Shrink Your Os [If you do, it will delete Vendor.xml for you]
- Update your Phone using Loader.exe (Click Launch Loader.exe in Shrink-A-OS or go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader)
If you're upgrading from .122
- Install .122 leak to your PC only, not your phone. (Skip this step if you already have it)
- Run the Installer and change: 9530-v4.7.0.151_P4.0.0.186 to 9530-v4.7.0.122_P4.0.0.153
- Shrink Your Os [If you do, it will delete Vendor.xml for you]
- Update your Phone using Loader.exe (Click Launch Loader.exe in Shrink-A-OS or go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader)
If you're upgrading from .113
- Install .113 leak to your PC only, not your phone. (Skip this step if you already have it)
- Run the Installer and change: 9530-v4.7.0.151_P4.0.0.186 to 9530-v4.7.0.113_P4.0.0.144
- Shrink Your Os [If you do, it will delete Vendor.xml for you]
- Update your Phone using Loader.exe (Click Launch Loader.exe in Shrink-A-OS or go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader)
If you're upgrading from stock .75/.76
- Install .151 from Here to your PC only, not your phone. (Skip this step if you already have it)
- Once .148 Installed, Install the 5.0Hybrid file
- Shrink Your Os [If you do, it will delete Vendor.xml for you]
- Update your Phone using Loader.exe (Click Launch Loader.exe in Shrink-A-OS or go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader)
(This is why: Only reason .151 is required to go from stock is so that you have a registered upgraded OS installed on your PC (mainly in your registry). You then upgrade that one to become the hybrid)
If you're upgrading from .109
- Install .109 leak to your PC only, not your phone. (Skip this step if you already have it) - At Install screen, in the textbox beneath Destination Folder, change: 9530-v4.7.0.151_P4.0.0.186 to 9530-v4.7.0.109_P4.0.0.136
- Install using the installer that corresponds to your Windows OS
- Shrink Your Os [If you do, it will delete Vendor.xml for you]
- Update your Phone using Loader.exe (Click Launch Loader.exe in Shrink-A-OS or go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader)
If you're upgrading from anything lower:
- At Install screen, in the textbox beneath Destination Folder, change: 9530-v4.7.0.151_P4.0.0.186 to 9530-v4.7.0.###_P4.0.0.###, where the #s are replaced by your version and platform
- Install using the installer that corresponds to your Windows OS
- Shrink Your Os [If you do, it will delete Vendor.xml for you]
